Farm anatomy, yes please!

I have wanted this wonderfully illustrated book for a few months and it was recently gifted to me! And then today saw it on design sponge's 2011 gift guide:books and smiled because it is such a great book for anyone that is interested in all things farm. Gift it to someone you love and make them smile too.

Secrets from a stylist is the best show...here is one of my favorite episodes where Emily redesigns with a sexy afro glam theme. I love Emily's amazing, rad, fantabulous eye for design that fits each and every client she has (maybe that is because she was one of the best winners of design star). Even though this episode may have tons of crazy color...it works! Watch and enjoy as I have time and time again.

Sweet sleep and good dreams

I love love love,wait did I say love this headboard. A salvaged barnwood headboard that I saw on design sponge this past week. A little birdie told me that someone might be making one soon, so I am excited to see how it turns out. The warmth of the barnwood draws me in and calls my name for a sweet sleep and good dreams, especially on this fall rainy day.

Anya Ayoung-Chee, yes please!

The new winner of project runway is the beautiful Anya. I would buy each and every one of these pieces and maybe even sleep in them because I think they are so beautiful. I can't wait to see what she does next and figure out when I can get my hands on some of her pieces.
