Okay, we're having this debate about how cashmere can be sold at places like Old Navy and Costco!!! So, here are a few pieces of beautiful cashmere that are sold at the right price. Cashmere is a luxury and if everyone can have it then it is not as desired. The problem with low-cost cashmere is that there are too many goats to be supported on the land + so they are starving + have to be brought food. There is no natural vegetation left, so the land becomes just dust. How does this effect us? Well, this is happening in China and even though it seems oh so far away, the dust storms that they have actually effect the air quality and to the extent that it travels all the way to the West Coast. Yuck! Today we are asking you to think about this as the temptation to buy reduced priced cashmere looms in the midst of our economic situation.
