We love London + with the new opening of a hidden speakeasy-style bar, Barts by Charlie Gilkes + Duncan Stirling- of Kitts nightclub fame, we love it even more. Walk through an anonymous 1930s residential building to find a black door + a lantern. Ring a bell + the staff will decide if you enter this eclectic lair + once in, expect a montage of vintage Mickey Mouse wallpaper, retro televisions, trunks filled with costumes + Prohibition-era music. The food is yummy with such eats as shepherd’s pies, lasagna, mac + cheese + of course the cocktails are classic.
