Tonight 10pm-2am

Serene Society, an up and coming coordinating duo, will be hosting an Art and Fashion Installation. The show will be raising awareness for Falling Whistles, a non-profit organization committed to peace in the Congo of Africa. Serene Society’s launch party will be hosted on Friday May 29th 2009 from 10p.m. to 2a.m.

The event will take place at LA’s historical Chipiraki warehouse located at 1637 Spring Street Los Angeles, CA. While LA’s finest hairstylist and make-up artist complete the looks, the runway will showcase the Spring Collection from New York based vintage boutique What Comes Around Goes Around. With a line principled on “the old influences the new,” the company has
evolved from a small vintage boutique, to a leader in the contemporary market. Their vintage-inspired collections have dressed the likes of Misha Barton, Nicole Richie, Jessica Simpson, Hayden Panettiere, David and Victoria Beckham and Matthew McConaughey.

“On Friday, style will come together with substance to create the perfect platform for people to wear their protest and be whistleblowers for peace,” said Sean Carasso, co-founder of Falling Whistles.
“This promises to be a very exciting evening.”

Artwork will be shown by J. Carns and Mercedes Helwein. Entertainment provided by Ali Helwein and the Mad Marionettes, while the night proceeds with special guest DJ's.

There will be a $10 cover for the event and all proceeds from the Falling Whistles drink sponsor will be donated to Falling Whistles.
