Commune

The guys over at the increasingly mainstream ambiguous clothing that originated in Orange County have branched off in the less traveled direction with a new company called Commune. In hopes of breaking away from “the man” while coming up with more original, less confined means of combining southern California culture of sport, art, fashion, + just general bad-assness they have created a series of impressive collections of dark + nostalgic pieces like motorcycle jackets, t-shirts, fleece jackets, + henleys.

Such classic pieces are assembled skillfully by the boys at commune, in a symphony for the eyes + body that whisper of the influences of Mike Ness’ voice, the thump of a stripped down black cafĂ© racer, + the skate punk visuals of something that may have been found on Powell Peralta. Check out their pieces and pick one up when you know that your typical surf-graphic t-shirt from the closet just won’t do the trick. -PJAX
