Sam Hecht + Industrial Facility

Designers Sam Hecht + Kim Colin from Industrial Facility, based in London, have created a three piece collection of furniture, lights, + accessories composed of Table, Bench, Chair/ Beam Light/ + Two Timer. Inspiration for the Table, Bench Chair comes from Tokyo’s metro. Using mathematical + psychological programmed patterns, the piece combines the functions of a table, chair, + bench into a single, simple, + clean piece that leaves a variety of functions to be determined by the user.

The Beam Series lights seamlessly combine ambient + directional light through spun metal + blown glass in the form of a pendant, table + floor lights. The Two Timer clock is composed of two quartz movements housed in a steel frame + derives from the concept the designer describes as, “it’s as if everyone these days has come from or is going to somewhere else … Two-Timer is a useful expression to this modern condition merging two different time zones into one clock.” Whatever era, time-zone, or style you may bring to the Table, Bench, Chair, any of these pieces could be a stylish addition to your space.-PJax
