It has been a long long long while since I have blogged. On a recent trip to visit my Sister in San Diego, she asked why I stopped writing and posting....hmmmm I thought about it answered and then realized I miss it and want to share again. I recently moved from Santa Monica to Manhattan Beach and love the new place I am in. I feel very inspired by the beauty around me and the ways my new place is squeezing new design ideas from me since it is a small studio.
Here is a pic from a beautiful design store, Etceteras in La Jolla that I took this weekend. I love the IKAT and this is the fabric I want to use to recover my wingback, which at the moment has a Calypso silk quilt draped over it, very shabby chic with a twist I guess, but the chair is in desperate need of a pick me up. So I wait and dream.....
