Shoot

This book curated by Ken Miller gathers over 20 photographers whose work focuses on capturing a moment rather than on elaborate lighting setups or controlled, manufactured scenarios. Shoot documents the influence of an older generation of art photographers, such as the legendary Nan Goldin and Wolfgang Tillmans, + expands on a younger generation of photographers, including Tim Barber and J. H. Engström, to show how this style has gained traction and influence.

DC shoes + UNKL

We love that Colette carries limited edition + the newest addition is the DC + UNKL collaboration called the "Double Label Project", DC Shoes + UNKL re-launch the Graph shoe, in a limited glow-in-the-dark edition, only 450 made. Also available this SUG toy with the same colors + holding a DC shoes bag that glows in the dark. Who doesn't love almost all things glow in the dark!!! So, we enjoy little background stories + so here is a brief history lesson on the caricature SUG:

In 1955 SUG was born in a remote part of Iceland. He weighed in at 40lbs and was an astounding 43″ long. Today, SUG is 7′7″ and weighs 655lbs and continues to base his operations out of the remote moonlike landscape of northern Iceland.

As a self-proclaimed protector of humanity, SUG’s mission is very simple: to assist people of the world who are in desperate need of help. He has no affiliation with any one government + is not concerned with the politics of his actions, but rather views his role in global, historical + human terms.

We think you need to get a hand on these!!

All things masculine

We love Milan Vukmirovic! Who is this handsome, stylish, savvy man, + is the creative director for Trussardi 1911. He also did stints at Gucci + Jill Sander + also served as cofounder + creative director of Colette in Paris - one of our favorite stores. Get hold of the Colette signature candle-silence and you will have no regrets! His latest venture is Webster, a soon-to-open men's clothing store in Miami beach.

A few of our shared favorite things are: the simple white tee for men + it must be done well, as is the Richard Owens tee. A toner is also a must have for men, so use the Aesop parsley seed anti-oxidant facial toner + of course take care of those beautiful eyes + choose some classic shades, such as these John Varvatos aviators. Last, but not least these limited edition Ascics sneakers are a funky pop to any jean and white tee combo! Asics partnered with La MJC for this favorite sold at Colette.
