Leave it to Natalie Galatzer of Bike Basket Pies, who delivers made-to-order cupcake-size creations via her trusty three-speed cruiser. Galatzer uses chunks of butter for her super-flaky handmade crusts, which she perfected in college + talk about local: The Mission resident scours backyard gardens for the freshest fruit, like this week’s peaches. She can even whip up a vegan crust to accommodate a nondairy diet. We only wish we could ride our bikes more in SoCal, so we could tote these mini pies of magnificent goodness around town!
