Local artists Julie Cloutier + Claire Nereim use the alphabet as inspiration for Stymie Apparel. What we love is that their line is made of super-soft, screen-printed, vintage-washed + organic cotton tees. The pair, who have collaborated on art installations for two years, explores the relationship of language to form in an effortlessly wearable way. The A/Z tee, for instance, makes an “A” out of a “Z” on the front, + vice versa on the back. The same for the B/Y design. We enjoy the simplicity of the tee's + know that they look great with denim, leggings, or cords (hey, it will be fall soon enough + we can't wait)!
